Privacy Policy
This is an English translation for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.
1. Data controller

2. What data do we process?
The name and e-mail address you provide in the contact form and – if you choose to provide them – your company name, phone number and the content of your message. To prevent misuse, we also record the IP address of the sender.
3. Purpose and legal basis
The purpose is to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible collaboration. The legal basis for processing the data you enter in the form is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and – where your enquiry relates to a possible contract – taking steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We record the IP address to prevent and investigate misuse (for example spam or malicious messages). The legal basis for this is Closence’s legitimate interest in operating the website and the contact form securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. How long do we keep the data?
For a maximum of 12 months after your enquiry has been closed, unless a contractual relationship is established or the law requires a longer retention period.
5. Who has access?
Closence staff and our hosting and e-mail provider as data processor: Silicium Network Kft. (1065 Budapest, Révay köz 4., Hungary; e-mail: support@silicium.eu). We never sell your data to third parties.
6. Your rights
You may request information about and access to your data, and its rectification, erasure or the restriction of processing. Where processing is based on consent or a contract, you also have the right to data portability, i.e. to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or have it transmitted to another controller. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest (IP address). You may withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. Please send your request to hello@closence.hu. You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, naih.hu).
7. Cookies
This website uses no cookies or tracking tools and loads no content from third-party services – even our fonts are served from our own hosting. Your browser’s local storage only remembers your language choice and whether you closed the announcement bar about our November events; this contains no personal data. The page language is chosen based on your browser’s time zone and language settings – none of this information is stored or transmitted.
